Denver PrideFest is produced by the GLBT Community Center of Colorado. Proceeds directly support programs and services for the Community.

The first LGBT pride celebration in Denver was held in 1975 and was organized by members of the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire. Excitement from that first parade led to the founding of the GLBT Community Center the following year.
